First appearance at Glastonbury. One of the defining early European festival slots.

Crystal Castles (II) — major festival run

Release of the second album. Extensive European and North American festival appearances. Pitchfork Music Festival, Primavera Sound, Reading & Leeds among others.

Primavera Sound — Barcelona, Spain

First Primavera Sound appearance. Spain becomes one of their strongest markets.

Tour

World tour — headlining run

Extended headlining tour across North America and Europe. Club venues and mid-size theatres. Shows increasingly chaotic and physical.

Album Festival

Crystal Castles (III) tour

World tour in support of the third album (Alice Glass era). Coachella, multiple European festivals. Shows evolve towards a darker, more intense atmosphere.

2013–2014
Tour Lineup change

Final shows with Alice Glass

Continued touring through 2013 and into 2014. Alice Glass departs in September 2014. Last shows with the original lineup.

2015–2016
New vocalist Festival

Era (III) — Edith Frances

Crystal Castles continue performing with Edith Frances. Final album released in November 2016. Last shows before dissolution.
